Jah Works Radio 1/21/11 Pt. 1

We start off this week’s show with “Free”, a beautiful tune off of Etana’s new LP “Free Expression”, which is due to be released Feb. 8.  Forward on with more new music from Jahdan Blakkamoore, Gentleman and Bushman.  Next is a set of big tunes from the 80’s, featuring Peter Tosh, Carlton Livingston, Devon Russell, and Cornell Campbell.

Unfortunately, the rest of the show was not recorded.  Next week, we’ll be back with a full show.  In the meantime, enjoy these vibes!  Bless.

Nice to hear “Fret them a Fret”. Sounds like the sample to Tanya Stephens’ “What a Pity”. Great rhythm!

    • Yes, man! That’s the “Night Nurse” Riddim – originally from Gregory’s “Night Nurse”. “Doctor’s Darling” Riddim was an updated version of this in 04′ or 05′. Peace.
