Jah Works Radio 8/10/12 with Yami Bolo

We are graced to have Yami Bolo join us as our special guest this week.  We start off with his classic, Roots Pon Mi Corner, leading into a classic 80s set, featuring Tenor Saw, White Mice, Nitty Gritty, Super Cat, and Junior Delgado.  Next up we get into a straight Yami Bolo set, with combination tunes also featuring Dennis Brown, Capleton and Jah Sun.  This leads us into a live interview with Yami, where we discuss growing up in Kingston 13, how he met Sugar Minott and linked with his legendary sound system and organization, Youthman Promotion, King Selassie’s visit to JA, his devotion to Rastafari, and much more.  Along with Midnite and 10 Foot Ganja Plant, Yami will be headlining the Vermont Reggae Festival next weekend, Aug. 17 and 18 in Rochester, New Hampshire.  Word, sound and power continue to carry us through this blessed night, making this a very special edition not to be missed.  Jah bless.
