Destiny brings I&I together as we celebrate the Earthstrong of the one and only Vaughn Benjamin (Akae Beka). We are joined by Ras E in the studio and our special guests are Kafunya Ife and Iyaba Ibo Mandingo. On this night of Vaughn Benjamin’s Earthstrong, we all gather to celebrate his life through a tapestry of music, true stories, poetry and sacred sounds. Kafunya Ife worked directly with Vaugh for several years in the earlier part of his career and is also a poet, sound healer and energy worker. Iyaba Ibo Mandingo hails from Antigua (just like Vaughn) and is a griot who tells stories through his poetry, plays, paintings and music.
