This week’s show is a tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. for his great works and inspiration.  Standing in solidarity, we can achieve great things and MLK truly united the people in the fight against racial oppression and segregation in this country.  We always remember his works.  We also have a very special guest joining us this week in King Lemuel, my good friend and talented artist from Puerto Rico.  Highlights of the show include MLK’s I Have A Dream speech played in segments throughout the show mixed over dubwise music.  Also featured on this edition is Capleton, Zebulun, Zion, Fyakin, Queen Omega, The Heptones, Apple Gabriel, Jr Delgado, Augustus Pablo, Anthony Que, Tarrus Riley, Garnett Silk and much more.  Livication this week also goes out to the massive in Nigeria.  Our prayers are with you.  Jah Bless.

We start the new year with a powerful tune from Teddy Afro paying respect to the honorable Robert Nesta Marley.  Teddy Afro, one of the great voices of Ethiopia, was released from prison in 2009 after serving nearly 2 years as a political prisoner.  Strictly roots follows with Bob Marley and The Wailers, Judah Eskender, The Ethiopians, Noel Ellis, Don Carlos, Sugar Minott, The Rastafarians and The Viceroys.  Next up we check out The Congos and Pura Vida’s new combination album, with its incredibly rootical sound.  New music follows from Yami Bolo and Million Stylez on the Bellyfull Riddim, Princess Menen, Itaweh, Derajah, Tarrus Riley, Khago and more.  More roots and culture continues on this special extended New Year edition of the show, including the new anthem from Richie Stephens and Gentleman.  Happy New Year to the massive and Jah Bless!
