The brand new Dem Talking Riddim starts us off this week, with STRONG tunes from Jah Mali and Ginjah with Singer Jah.  I call this riddim best one drop for 2011 so far, and these tunes among the most impactful.  We feature other new riddims this week including the Gorilla and the Lovers Rock Riddims, with tunes from Tarrus Riley, Ziggi, Tippa Irie, and Sophia Brown.  We also take a glimpse at Richie Spices newest cd, Book of Job, with his tune Better Tomorrow.  Other highlights of the show include classics from Lucky Dube, Dillinger, Israel Vibration, and a bike riding set featuring  tunes from Jr. Reid, Early B, and Super Cat…and much more.  All killer and no filler this week!  Until next week, JAH BLESS.

Jah Fire Will Be Burning from Hugh Mundell gets us kicked off in a big way.  Other roots selections in the beginning of the show include Leroy Smarts Jah is my light and tunes from I Roy, Lion Youth and Cornell Campbell.  The warm weather recently inspires Maxi Priests classic Springtime, followed by more 80s style from Frankie Paul, Little Kirk, King Everald, and Pinchers.  Other artists featured this week include Nasio Fontaine, Chezidek, Jahdan Blakkamoore, Mighty Mystic, The Upsetters, Dennis Brown, and a special birthday livication from Delroy Wilson.

Much love going out this week to the massive in Japan – our prayers are with you.  Keep Jah by your side always.

Burning Spear kicks off this week with his original Door Peep Shall Not Enter.  Pure nice vibes continue with tunes from Zamunda, Kali Blaxx, and a new remix tune from Buju and Wayne Wonder.  Other highlights of the show include Early B’s Visit of King Selassie and Don Carlos’ Just a Passing Glance, both reminiscing of the blessed day when Haile Selassie made his first and only visit to JA in April of 1966.  We also take a ride on the Love I Can Feel Riddim, featuring Dennis Brown and Cornell Campbell.  Blessed love Massive, and enjoy the vibes. Oneness.

“I and I, son of the most high, Jah Rastafari Our hearts shall correspond and beat in one harmony.  Sounds from the Burning Spear: Door peep shall not enter this a holy land Where wise and a true man stand sipping from the cup of peace /Chant down a babylon, yeah Chant down babylon Chant down a babylon, yeah Chant down babylon Give thanks and praise Give thanks and praise Give thanks and praise Give thanks and praise To the holy man of creation.” – Burning Spear “Door peep shall not enter”
