This week’s show is a special tribute to Rainford Hugh Perry, better known to the world as Lee “Scratch” Perry. A true creation stepper, he created a unique sound and vibration that could never be duplicated, and itinued his musical creations well into his 80s – in fact, right up until his last day on earth. So, tonight we pay tribute to this mystic of our time the best way we know how – through word, sound and power! All tunes this week are Lee Perry productions and include many of his own dubs, as well as vocal tunes from artists like The Heptones, The Congos, Jr. Murvin, Max Romeo, Brent Dowe, Junior Byles, Watty Burnett, Bob Marley and the Wailers, The Gatherers, The Twin Roots, Mike Brooks, Errol Walker, Subatomic Sound System and Prince Jazzbo.
