Burning Spear kicks off this week with his original Door Peep Shall Not Enter.  Pure nice vibes continue with tunes from Zamunda, Kali Blaxx, and a new remix tune from Buju and Wayne Wonder.  Other highlights of the show include Early B’s Visit of King Selassie and Don Carlos’ Just a Passing Glance, both reminiscing of the blessed day when Haile Selassie made his first and only visit to JA in April of 1966.  We also take a ride on the Love I Can Feel Riddim, featuring Dennis Brown and Cornell Campbell.  Blessed love Massive, and enjoy the vibes. Oneness.

“I and I, son of the most high, Jah Rastafari Our hearts shall correspond and beat in one harmony.  Sounds from the Burning Spear: Door peep shall not enter this a holy land Where wise and a true man stand sipping from the cup of peace /Chant down a babylon, yeah Chant down babylon Chant down a babylon, yeah Chant down babylon Give thanks and praise Give thanks and praise Give thanks and praise Give thanks and praise To the holy man of creation.” – Burning Spear “Door peep shall not enter”

Barrington Levy joins us as the special guest this week, so we get kicked off with some of his classics, including My Bible, Englishman, and Dances are changing.  After the interview, we check out his new tune Gangsters, leading us into more new music from Etana, Gyptian and Lukie D.  Next we get into a gospel reggae set, with tunes from Sherwin Gardner, Eddie Neblett, Positive, and Jason Mighty.  Closing out the show are some especially dread tunes from Luciano and Osmond Collins.  Check the gospel vibe of this show – this is what I love about reggae music!  Come see Barrington Levy alongside Mighty Mystic this Sunday night (2/27) at Club Metronome in Burlington.

Thanks for tuning in and keep Jah in your heart every day.
EACH ONE TEACH ONE.
